Director
Seamus Wade has been a Director with NI Audit Office since April 2023. Previously he worked at the Education Authority for 6 years where he held the posts of Director of Finance and ICT and Assistant Director of Financial Services. Prior to this Seamus spent 23 years in the Health Service where he held a number of senior finance and internal audit posts including Chief Internal Auditor and Assistant Director of Finance. Seamus served as an independent member on the Departmental Audit and Risk Assurance Committee of the Department for Communities and as a member of the Board of Governors of a primary school. He holds an honours degree in Accounting from Queen’s University Belfast and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. Seamus is married with 4 children and his interests include sport, DIY and fishing.
