We are currently undertaking work in order to produce this publication. Details of when we aim to publish the finalised report are indicated below.
This report aims to assess how the Department for the Environment and Rural Affairs prepares, reacts, and develops resilience to animal disease in Northern Ireland. The report will focus on the expenditure associated with surveillance, prevention, detection, and eradication of animal disease by the organisations in the DAERA group and will examine the current strategic approach to managing both exotic and endemic animal diseases in Northern Ireland.
We expect to publish this report in late 2026.
